Biography
Dr. WEI Qiang got his MD degree from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2010. And he finished his PhD training in 2017 in Zhejiang University School of Medicine. He is now an attending surgeon in department of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic surgery, Affiliated Hangzhou First People's Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine. He also serves as the deputy director of Medical Management department from October, 2020.
Dr. WEI has served as a hepatobiliary & pancreatic and liver transplant surgeon for 11 years and had been a visiting scholar in 2017 in Royal Free Hospital, London. He is keen on precise diagnosis and treatment of hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumors, prevention and treatment of complications after liver transplantation. As a scientific physician, he has hosted 6 scientific research programs, which funded by Natural Science Foundation of China, Zhejiang Province and Zhejiang University and has authored more than 10 scientific papers. He was awarded as one of main contributors of Science and Technology Progress Award, Chinese Medical Association (2020) and Scientific and Technological Award of Zhejiang Province (2021).
