Biography

Dr. YU is a member of the Chinese Communist Party and Master of Surgery. He is now a deputy chief physician of Department of Gastrointestinal and Anal Surgery, Affiliated Hangzhou First People's Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine. Currently, he is the reviewer of Journal Frontiers in Oncology and an editorial board member of Chinese Journal of General Surgery. He presided over two research projects on education and teaching reform in medical colleges and universities. He has published more than 10 SCI and Chinese series journal papers, and won the third prize in the Gastrointestinal Tumor Elite Finals of 2019 Summit Trip, and the third prize in the first Qianjiang Cup Zhejiang Excellent Minimally Invasive Surgery Video Contest for Tumor. He also undertakes teaching tasks in Zhejiang University, Nanjing Medical University, Zhejiang Chinese Medical University and other medical colleges and universities.

He has rich clinical experience in the treatment of common diseases and critically ill patients in general surgery, especially in the field of standardized surgical diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal tumors and comprehensive treatment, and can skillfully carry out laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery for gastrointestinal tumors. At the same time, he has rich experience in surgical diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel disease, management of acute abdomen and perioperative management of gastrointestinal tumors.

1. Standardized surgical diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal tumors, especially laparoscopic surgery

2. Comprehensive treatment of gastrointestinal tumors, such as abdominal thermal perfusion chemotherapy, neoadjuvant therapy for advanced gastrointestinal tumors, and transformation therapy for advanced gastrointestinal tumors

3. Comprehensive surgical diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel disease.
