Biography                                  

Professor Changku Jia is the Director and chief physician of the Dept. of hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, Hangzhou First Hospital affiliated to the Medical College of Zhejiang University. He graduated from Zhejiang University as a doctor's degree holder. After graduation he entered academic practice including basic science and clinical training within liver transplantation center of Zhejiang University and Queen Mary Hospital of Hong Kong University. From August 2010 he was appointed the director of Dept. Hepatobiliary Pancreatic Surgery, First Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical University. From August 2015 he was appointed the director of Dept. of Hepatobiliary Pancreatic Surgery, Affiliated Hangzhou First People's Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine. He strongly experienced in clinical and fundamental work of hepatobiliary surgery and liver transplantation. He has published more than 60 papers as the first author or corresponding author.

Treatment of hepatobiliary and pancreatic malignancies; 

Hepatobiliary pancreatic surgery especially anatomic hepatectomy and pancreatic resection;

Treatment of intrahepatic and extrahepatic bile duct stones;

Management of bile duct injury;  

Laparoscopic and robotic operations; 

Liver transplantation;
