He is especially good at endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), gastrointestinal endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) diagnosis and super minimally invasive endoscopic treatment techniques. While studying abroad at the digestive disease center of the medical university of South Carolina (MUSC, America), he studied ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound under the guidance of internationally renowned medical experts professor Peter Cotton and Hawes Robert, further improved the endoscopic diagnosis and treatment technology of gastroenterology (endoscopic ultrasound, ERCP and gastrointestinal endoscopy super minimally invasive treatment technology), and conducted ERCP international exchange lectures. In Hangzhou first people's hospital he carried out the first case of endoscopic ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration (EUS-FNA), and performed EUS-FNA for pancreatic cyst drainage treatment. One of the first doctors in the hospital to carry out endoscopic dissection of submucosal lesions such as ESD/EMR (early gastric cancer, colon cancer, gastric stromal tumor, neuroendocrine tumor, EUS (endoscopic ultrasound), ERCP, etc. He has successively served as a master tutor of Nanjing medical university and Zhejiang Chinese medicine university, and has been responsible for the teaching of the international English class for international students of Zhejiang Chinese medicine university and the basic theory and clinical practice of internal medicine and diagnosis for seven-year students of Nanjing medical university. A number of scientific and technological achievements have been obtained, such as experimental research on agitated lithotripsy by stent placement of giant CBD stones, EUS-FNA pancreatic cytology, tumor antigen, protein expression and its diagnosis of neoplastic lesions, and experimental research on the effect of 17β-estradiol on primary cultured rat hepatic stellate cells.
