Biography

Professor SHAN, M.D., is the deputy director of Department of Gastrointestinal and Anal Surgery. Professor SHAN is tutor for postgraduates of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, Nanjing Medical University, and Zhejiang Chinese Medical University. He is the secretary of the Surgical Branch of  Hangzhou First People’s Hospital Committee of Chinese Communist Party, deputy director of the surgical teaching and research section, teaching director of the surgical base. 

He is skilled at diagnosis and treatment of general surgical diseases, surgery and comprehensive treatment of gastrointestinal tumor, and laparoscopic radical gastrointestinal cancer surgery. He is also skilled at complete laparoscopic radical total gastrectomy for gastric cancer with splenic hilar lymph node dissection + esophageal jejunal anastomosis (Orvil end-to-side anastomosis, π and overlap side-to-side anastomosis); laparoscopic proximal gastrectomy for gastric cancer + dual channel Anastomosis, laparoscopic subtotal gastric resection with jejunum single-channel anastomosis; complete laparoscopic D2 radical resection of distal gastric cancer; laparoscopic ultra-low rectal cancer anus-preserving surgery (exversion and drag-out, modified Bacon surgery ), laparoscopic D3 radical resection of left colon cancer, laparoscopic D3 radical resection of right colon cancer, laparoscopic non-incision colorectal cancer NOSES operation; skilled in laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy, laparoscopic local resection of duodenal tumors.
