Overview

The Pharmacy Department of Affiliated Hangzhou First People’s Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine is a comprehensive pharmaceutical department integrating pharmaceutical care, education, with scientific research. The department consists of drug dispensing (outpatient pharmacy, emergency pharmacy, inpatient pharmacy, center of Pharmacy Intravenous Admixture Service [PIVAS], and three satellite pharmacies), drug preparation room, clinical pharmacy, clinical pharmacology laboratory and the Phase I Clinical Trial ward.

The pharmacy department has been approved as Specialized Clinical Pharmacist Training Base of China, Key Laboratory of Zhejiang Province, Zhejiang Key Subject of Medical Science, Hangzhou Key Subject of Medical Science, etc.

In recent years (2017-2020), the department has been responsible for more than 50 research projects, including 8 NSFC projects and 23 provincial research projects. Publishing 89 research papers, of which 40 papers were indexed by SCI. In the same time, we have been granted with 5 national invention patents and 2 software copyright. In recognition of the remarkable achievements in clinical pharmacy research and hospital pharmacy management, we have been granted with more than 6 awards, and established a good reputation at both home and abroad.
