Dermatology and Venereal Department

The Department of Dermatology-Venereology was found in the 1980s and has a long history of more than 30 years. It is a comprehensive department integrating medical treatment, scientific research and teaching. It is a key discipline of a hospital in Zhejiang University. There are currently 15 doctors in the specialties, including 6 senior titles, 6 attending physicians, and 2 master supervisors.  More than 80% of the specialists have a master's degree or above, of which 2 have a doctorate degree, and 1 is PhD candidate. Members have studied in the United States and the United Kingdom.

The annual outpatient visits of specialist departments exceed 150,000, 14 beds in wards, and there are about 700 inpatients every year. The proportion of patients outside the urban area is about 50%, ranking first among brother hospitals in Hangzhou. The outpatient clinic is open from Monday to Sunday, and the emergency department is available 24 hours a day.  It is a national-level drug clinical trial base GCP unit. It started resident training in 1989. It was the first batch of national and provincial resident training bases. It is now a postgraduate training center for Nanjing Medical University and Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Main focus: We provide expert comprehensive treatment of infantile eczema and atopic dermatitis; systemic diagnosis and treatment of venereal diseases such as condyloma acuminatum and syphilis; diagnosis and treatment of intractable diseases such as severe children's skin diseases, connective tissue diseases, severe drug eruptions, exudative erythema multiforme, bullous skin diseases; We also have comprehensive treatment of psoriasis and vitiligo; injection-type micro-needle cosmetic facial rejuvenation; minimally invasive skin surgery treatment for underarm odor and tumor; laser cosmetic treatment for diseases such as freckles and acne.

Specialized medical facilities are complete, providing comprehensive skin pathology, dermoscopy, fungal fluorescence and other inspection items, with fully functional treatment rooms, phototherapy rooms, laser rooms, and operating rooms.  The department is equipped with advanced treatment equipment, providing various treatment items such as laser, cryotherapy, phototherapy, skin beauty, photodynamics, surgery, which can meet the various medical needs of patients with skin diseases.
