The Department of Vascular Surgery, Hangzhou First People's Hospital was established in 2010, mainly engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral vascular disease. There are 9 vascular surgeon currently. The facilities are abundant, such as Hybrid operating room with large-scale digital silhouette angiography machine (Siemens), ClosureFast radio frequency ablation machine(Medtronic), semiconductor laser treatment instrument (Eufoton), limb Doppler blood flow detector (Hadeco), Angiojet thrombus aspiration machine(Boston Scientific),color Doppler ultrasound (SIEMENS) and other international advanced equipment. After 10 years of development, the department's comprehensive strength of medical teaching and research has made great progress.It has become the doctor training center of Zhejiang Universit,Zhejiang Chinese Medical.In recent years, the department has carried out more than 10 new technologies and projects, among which fenestration and branching stent technology for the treatment of thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms, the treatment of complex arch aneurysms and dissectionlower extremity arteriosclerosis obliteransDeep vein thrombosis are the core technology of the department.

With more than 1000 average annual operations,The doctors also are particularly good at the individualized treatment of carotid artery, subclavian artery, and vertebral artery stenosis and minimally invasive treatment of lower extremity deep vein thrombosis and varicose veins. They have rich experience in the diagnosis and treatment of emergency, critical and difficult cases of vascular surgery. In recent years,the department has initiated And participated in a number of national multi-center, prospective clinical research projects.
