Biography

Prof. Tong Xiangmin, M.D., Ph.D., is the party secretary of Hangzhou First People’s Hospital .

He was selected for National New Century Talents Program, Leading Talent in Zhejiang Science and Technology Innovation Program, Zhejiang High-level Health Innovation Talents Program，Zhejiang 151 Talents (first-level) Project.

He received awards of Zhejiang Province advanced individual in in the fight against COVID-19, Young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions to the state, and was granted the State Council's special allowance for experts.

As the project host, he undertook 1 national major special project for new medicines, 3 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and 8 provincial major key projects.

He has published more than 80 papers in international and domestic journals, including 57 SCI papers as the first and corresponding author.

He won 2 second prizes of provincial science and technology progress awards as the first person in Zhejiang province, 1 second prize of national science and technology progress awards and 1 first prize of provincial science and technology progress awards as a main member.

He is the deputy editor of the Diagnostics and the editorial board of the Hematology-tumor Organ System which are the textbooks in 13th Five-Year Plan for the national medical college. And he has 2 national invention patents.
